Dear Parent / Guardian,

This afternoon during our 4^th and 5^th grade recess period, two students reported seeing a man in the woods near the playground. Students were brought in from the playground and no other students were sent out. As a precaution, the school went to a lockout and Glenville Police were called.

The responding officers performed a thorough search of the tree line and brush surrounding the playground. No footprints other than animal tracks were found. Once the area was cleared school resumed normal operations.

Mr. Tobiassen is the principal at Sacandaga Elementary School. He is a member of the school district's crisis team and was available to be at Glendaal today.
