village of Scotia and towns of Glenville, Amsterdam and Charlton in New York's
Capital Region and Mohawk River valley.

• MS orientation programs for grade 5 students planned this spring; parent and student evening set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 11

• Suessical the Musical being performed March 26-28 at S-G High School
  
• Student teams from Glen-Worden (1st out of 19 teams solving the Food Court problem) and Glendaal (1st out of four teams solving the Return to the Gift of Flight problem) will compete in the state-level Odyssey of the Mind tournament on March 27 in Binghamton. In all, 13 teams from Scotia-Glenville participated in Odyssey this year. Read more about Odyssey of the Mind.

• Does your child need transportation to a non-public school in the 2010-11 school year? Forms are available at the school your child will attend and are due by April 1. Check here for more information (PDF).

• The high school's MORP ("Prom" spelled backwards) dance, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26, has been rescheduled to Friday, March 5 from 8-11 p.m. in the high school small gym.
