Scotia-Glenville
students will be quite busy this weekend:
SATURDAY,
DEC. 1:
The Baptist
Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center's "4th Annual Holiday
Celebration" will take place on Saturday, December 1 from 11-4 PM with entertainment
provided from Scotia-Glenville musicians. This event is free and open to the
public.
The groups
and the times they will be performing at the Baptist Health Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center are:

a.m.-12:00 p.m.:
the Middle School woodwind choir under the direction of Stephen Jensen;

12:30-1
p.m.: the High
School Choralaires
under the direction of Jessica Crisci;
¤
1:30-2
p.m.: Glen-Worden's
4th-5th grade chorus
under the direction of Peter Rizzo;
¤
2:30-3
p.m.: the High
School Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Cheryl Ferraro.

6:30 p.m.: A group of 30 grade 5 students from Lincoln
Elementary School
under the direction of Jan Rice will be performing at the tree lighting
ceremony at the corner of Wallace and First Streets in Scotia.
SUNDAY,
DEC. 2:
The annual Scotia Holiday on the Avenue will take place from 4-7 p.m. Scotia-Glenville musicians will be performing at the following venues and times as part of this wonderful community activity.

4 p.m.: The Scotia-Glenville Middle
School brass/woodwind ensemble under the direction of Stephen Jensen will perform at in
front of the Rhythm Section.

4 p.m.: The High School Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Cheryl
Ferraro will perform at the 1st National Bank of Scotia.
¤
5 p.m.: The High School Choralaires under the direction of Jessica
Crisci will perform at the First Baptist Church, Mohawk Avenue.

6:15
p.m.:The High School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Allison
Atchley will be performing at the First Methodist Church on Ten Broeck Street.
